Dear guests
The Maisenburg is in the middle of nowhere. The good news is, there are accomodations to stay overnight. The entire Hotel Die Maise is reserved for the wedding party. This means that all guests who wish can stay overnight from Saturday to Sunday for the price of EUR 50 per adult (breakfast included). If you want an accomodation, please indicate this when registering. We will book a room for you.

About us
We got to know each other in a very classic and romantic way – on the INTERNET! What began in 2008 as a loose pen pal – or rather email friendship – has developed into a love story over the last three years. By the way, Daniela was also the one who took the initiative with the pen pal relationship 🙂
From November 2023, there will no longer be just the two of us in Basel, but twelve of us! Meaning us and our ten Greek tortoise babies.
The visual is very important to both of us professionally: Daniela helps her patients to maintain or improve their vision. Mike makes sure that customers feel addressed by websites, magazines and videos and find their way around thanks to good reader guidance.
We both enjoy travelling in both nature and urban areas. We capture our impressions with a brush, paper and camera. The way to the heart is through the stomach.
We enjoy cooking together. Daniela usually takes the lead and Mike assists. It has become our ritual to cook together almost every day.
For all of you who want to give us something more than your valuable presence on our big day: we would appreciate your contribution to our honeymoon. And even though we appreciate a tasty bottle of wine, we don’t want to get in trouble with the customs on our way back to Switzerland, so please do not present any alcohol 🙂
